Welcome to the Red Hills Pagan Council!

The Red Hills Pagan Council is a civic organization dedicated to uniting pagans from North Florida and South Georgia. We strive to educate the general public about the positive focus of our religious perspectives, thereby promoting goodwill, peace and religious liberty for the positive, earth-based religions which we represent.

We welcome all traditions, genders, sexual orientations, races, ages, and paths to join together for the benefit of our community and environment. To learn more about the council, click here.

Any comments, curses, or bug reports please notify us.

This year’s First Harvest festival will celebrate Lammas.  Join the Red Hills Pagan Council as we celebrate the fruits of the Earth.

Date:             July 31, 2016

Gather at 9:30 am for ritual at 10:00am

Come join us to celebrate the first harvest of the year, and recognize that the hot summer days will soon come to an end.

Ritual will begin promptly at 10a, Please arrive at 9:30. You will need to please bring, sunscreen (as there is no sanctuary from the sun), bring a chair to sit in after ritual is complete, remember your bug spray.

There is also going to be a potluck lunch after ritual so please bring a dish to share with the community. (bringing your own plateware, silverware, etc will help reduce the impact on our landfills.)

For directions please email TONIKKING@GMAIL.COM for the address (as this is a private residence we don't want to blast their email across the internet. however all are welcome to join.)

We celebrate not only the generous bounty of our Mother Earth, but the fruit of our own labour. We honour our strength, our skill, and our vision which allow us to produce a harvest of abundance for ourselves, our families, and our communities.

Lammas is also known as Lughnasadh. Lughnasadh is the holy day dedicated to the Irish god Lugh. Lugh is a solar deity, but he is also the god of craft and skill. So at this Sabbat we honour the gifts of the Sun, as well as of our own labour.

Bring:            Potluck dish to share; plates, utensils and drink (some will be  provided if you forget); blankets or chairs, bug repellent.
